Garanti Bank starts using Blesh iBeacon devices

November 13, 2014

Garanti Bank, being Turkey’s second largest private bank and world famous for its innovative products in digital banking, has started using iBeacon technology for its award winning mobile banking app iGaranti.

iGaranti users will now be greeted and sent notifications on discount offers in partner stores where Blesh devices are deployed.

As part of the partnership, iGaranti users will get notifications when they enter Gold Electronics stores in İstanbul (Altunizade and Bayrampaşa) as well as in Ankara (Ankamall and Anatolium) and get a 100 TL discount on TV purchases of 1.000 TL and over.

Garanti Bank’s Executive Vice President of Digital Channels, Didem Dincer Baser, has pointed out the importance of location based offers and their continued effort in offering innovative solutions and new technologies to their customers in a press release and that the bank will continue using iBeacon technology in more stores with new partnerships.
